ATMOSPHERE

I looked inside the ATMOSPHERE
And asked, "What will I find in here?"

And what I found ~ wait 'til you hear,

was sphere, on sphere, on sphere, on sphere!

First there is the TROPOSPHERE 0 - 11 miles

It starts right on the ground, right here.

Second comes the STRATOSPHERE 11 - 31 miles

You'll find the ozone layer here.

Third in line, the MESOSPHERE 31 - 50 miles

It's cooler as you rise up here.

Fourth is the IONOSPHERE 50 - 400 miles

The air is very thin up here.

Fifth and last, the EXOSPHERE 400 - 800 miles

It's closer to the stars up here
