Before you start working a puzzle, especially a math puzzle, read it from top to bottom, start to finish. There may be clues to what is being sought.

If. . .
1. =

One cane equals six boxes. This is the given bit of information.

2.                 =

Therefore 5 canes equals 30 boxes.

30 boxes are equal to 4 bells.

Do the math further. 30 divided by 4 gives 7.5 boxes per bell.

And
3.       =

This statement says that 4 bells equal 3 trees. Or conversely 3 trees equals 4 bells.

You can further read this statement to say that 4 bells in one equation can be the same as the 4 bells of the previous equation.

Therefore 3 trees equals 30 boxes.

Then . . .
= _______ ? (10)
  = _______ ? (15)
        = ________? (18)
